            It's dragging myself through the shower-cause I can't take a bath
            Dealing with some heartburn-from gulping down breakfast
            Making time for the gas station-cause I'm running out of gas
            It's all Just Another Day in the fight

            It's waiting on line for the punch clock-checking the time is right
            Listening to the boss-hoping his wife was kind last night
            And ignoring that co-worker-who's always ready to bite
            It's all Just Another Day in the fight to stay alive


            It's worried the job I do-turns out the way it should
            Praying the tools don't break-cause they're really not that good
            And watching if the boss-is over my shoulder just because he could
            It's all Just Another Day in the fight

            It's looking that on my break-I can just get away
            To be with my Lord-so I can pray
            And ask him one more time-to help me get through this day
            It's All Just Another Day in the fight to stay alive


           It's hoping that the boss don't look to close-when I hand in my tools
           And gives me some long lesson-on the proper handling rules
           So I can pick up my kid on time-when he gets out a school

           It's hoping when I pick him up-the teacher has nothing to say
           Like what a bad boy he was-in school that day
           So we can spend some time together-before my second job calls me away
